Supplemental Retrosheet Release: April 28, 2024

Retrosheet is pleased to announce a supplemental release to its website. The following pages have been uploaded since our Fall 2023 release.

• MLB's 2024 Schedule is available for download.


• Using Retrosheet Data: Retrosheet has added two sources to its page listing Resources for Using Retrosheet Data and one new sources to its page listing Websites Using Retrosheet Data. Thank you to Dick Cramer and Mat Kovach for providing these resources. If any of you have or know of a website that you think should be added to either of these pages, please contact Tom Thress at tthress-ATsign-retrosheet.org (self-promotion is encouraged).


• Research Papers: Retrosheet has added one new research paper, "Throwing the World Series" by Brien Kocsis. If you have (or know of) research that you would like to see linked here, please contact Tom Thress at tthress-ATsign-retrosheet.org.


• Retrosheet has also updated several pages to add and update historical data based on ongoing research. These include pages on lost home runs and courtesy runners. If you are aware of any additions or edits to any of our Lists of Noteworthy Events, please contact Tom Thress at tthress-ATsign-retrosheet.org.


• Data Downloads. Retrosheet has updated two of its data downloads: Game Logs and Biographical Data. These updates should correct errors which have been identified since our last release and, in the latter case, newly discovered biographical information. Note that the player pages on our website have not been updated to reflect the new biographical data here. These pages will be updated as part of our upcoming Summer 2024 release.
