The Negro National League was the only Negro League in 1936. Their playoffs for the season are a little bit confusing.
Per tradition, the NNL played a split season but there was some dispute over who won the first half which was settled by a single game between the Washington Elite Giants (WEG) and Philadelphia Stars (PH5) on September 17, 1936.

Meanwhile, the second-half championship was determined via a five-game series between the Pittsburgh Crawfords (PTC) and Newark Eagles (NW2). It is a bit unclear whether this was a formal playoff series or a regular-season series which ended up acting as a de facto playoff. The Crawfords won the series 3-1-1.
The Crawfords and Elite Giants then met in a championship series. At least three games were played in the series but, as best as we can tell, the series was abandoned at some point and no formal playoff winner was declared. No box scores have been found yet for any games from this series.
